Fiona Kearnan has been researching the impacts of ADHD on student behaviour and learning for over 30 years. She studied primary teaching at The University of Melbourne, obtained special education qualifications at Deakin University, and completed her master’s degree in Behaviour at Monash University.
Fiona has over 25 years of classroom experience in both primary, secondary and special education settings. She held the role of Head of Teaching and Learning in a P-12 College in Melbourne prior to becoming one of Australia’s first Arrowsmith Program teachers.
Her passion, understanding and experience of this neurological condition enable her to empower teachers to Flick the Switch and assist students with ADHD to reach their potential.
Fiona is an avid reader, a professional photographer, she enjoys cooking and is a keen traveler. Her and her husband, Matthew, are the parents of two adult children. They live in Melbourne, Australia.
